Lord Mayor's corporate community shortlist announced

The City of London Corporation has announced the shortlist for the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards 2008.

Now in its twenty first year, the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards is the oldest scheme to reward companies and public bodies across London for their Corporate Community Involvement schemes.

The Education category has had the highest number of entries, taking 28% of all the applications. 50% of these applications to the Education category are from Financial and Professional Business Services firms.

This influx in applications suggests that more companies than ever are realising the value of community initiatives in the education field.
