Chief executive of NCVO, Stuart Etherington, has been appointed chair of court at the University of Greenwich.

Etherington’s responsibilities will be to ensure that the University Court works effectively and efficiently and observes the principles of public life.

He will work closely with the university's Vice-Chancellor Baroness Blackstone, and othersenior staff and, with them, take a lead in promoting key external relationships.

As Chair of Court, Etherington will also take the title of Pro Chancellor.

In this role, he will play a part in the university's graduation ceremonies which are held each summer and autumn.
